The District 2 Crystal Prism Award Program was established in the early 1980’s to single-out and spotlight an individual who has made outstanding contributions to their advertising community through their local Ad Federation.
Often described as the award for the “unsung hero,” the District 2 Crystal Prism regional award bestows the honor and gratitude of the local Ad Federation to an individual who goes above and beyond the call of duty, giving of their time selflessly for the advancement and success of their club without seeking reward or personal gain. It acknowledges their commitment, contributions, and giving of themselves to further the industry’s standards and to enhance the image of advertising.
The Crystal Prism Award is a cherished award and not usually given out annually, but instead, is only awarded to those very few, very special, dedicated recipients who nurture and grow our clubs.

Criteria:
Candidates are selected by a panel of judges and/or board of directors from their local ad federation and judged based on following criteria…
- Contribution to His/Her Ad Federation – The recipient must have achieved success in one or more of their Ad Federation’s initiatives.
- Creative Ability – The recipient must have shown a consistent, high degree of original thinking and perseverance.
- Contributions to the General Advancement of Advertising – The recipient must have worked to increase the stature and raise the standards of the advertising profession.
